According to the Iran-Oman Joint Chamber Public Relations, a virtual meeting hosted by the Shiraz Chamber of Commerce was held yesterday. Oman and the province’s economic activists was held with the focus on “reviewing the issues and problems of the province’s economic actors in the Oman market.” In this meeting, Mohsen Zarabi, while explaining the capacities of Oman market and how to enter this market, stated that considering the export potentials of Fars province and the long history of the province’s merchants in Oman, establishing an export management company centered on Shiraz Chamber to organize small exporters to enter The more successful it is offered to Oman. Also, considering that Fars province has a good position in the field of agricultural products and food, the establishment of a hypermarket of Iranian products will have a high economic justification. Mohsen Zarabi further emphasized that the Oman market is a market of first-class products and sometimes complaints from Omani buyers about the lack of export of quality goods by a few Iranian exporters to Oman are reflected in this common room, which unfortunately regarding the export of goods It acts with low quality or the quality of the product is gradually reduced in export shipments, and this will cause irreparable damage to the Iranian goods market. Therefore, it is necessary for the country’s exporters to see Oman as a market for the export of first-class products and to avoid unhealthy competition, because it will cause prices to fall sharply, and eventually, due to lack of economic justification, low-quality products will be exported to Oman. He also mentioned Oman’s potential for re-exporting Iranian goods through Oman.
Mohsen Zarabi, considering the tenth five-year plan of Oman and the 6 key axes of this plan, stated that according to the potentials of Fars province and the possibility of entering the private sector companies in some axes of this plan, according to the existing capabilities, a roadmap for economic activists Province to Oman to be developed and implemented in cooperation with Shiraz Chamber of Commerce and Iran-Oman Joint Chamber.
In the continuation of the meeting, the questions of the economic activists of the private sector of the province in the field of trade were answered.
