Announcement of new regulations for issuing and renewing residence cards in Oman

According to the report of the Public Relations of the Iran-Oman Joint Chamber, Inspector General of Oman Police, Civil rights issued in accordance with Royal Decree No. 66/99 and the executive regulations of the Civil Status Law approved in 2007/40.
Some of the materials of this circular are as follows:
First paragraph of Article (19): personal card and residence card within 30 days from the date of reaching the age of (10) ten years for Omani citizens and residents of Oman and from the date of entry of residents of the Kingdom of Oman if the age He is issued for more than 10 years.
Article (20): In order to receive a residence card, the presence of the person in question is mandatory and exceptions are made only in certain cases.
In all cases, the card is issued in the form of uniforms for Omani and suitable for foreigners in accordance with the rules set by the General Directorate of Oman Police.
The National ID is valid for five years
The validity of immigrants’ residence cards will be for three years from the date of issuance or renewal.
The cardholder must renew it within 30 days from the expiration date.
The cost of receiving the new Civil Card is RO5
The cost of renewing the national ID is RO5.
The cost of obtaining a duplicate National ID card is equivalent to RO10
The cost of receiving the new Resudent card is RO5 (for each year) and the cost of renewing the residence card is RO5 (for each year).
The cost of issuing a duplicate residence card is RO20
Fee for not receiving national ID / Residence Card – RO5 will be for each month.
